New review for Hate Eternal's Conquering The Throne. It's not much to read, but Conquering The Throne isn't much to listen to either.

I have several other reviews that I'm more or less ready to write but haven't written yet. I hope to get around to all of those this week. I'm tired of listening to that same batch of albums! At least I'll be able to move on to a new batch once I get the reviews written.

For those of you who don't keep up with my weight loss journal (and really - how can you go on without knowing every tiny little detail about my personal life?), I hit the "80 lbs lost" mark this week. I think I'm starting to get the tiniest bit impressed. No time for that now though. I'm almost where I want to be. By my projections, I should hit my goal weight before the end of next month.

My family is coming to visit next week. Anybody got an extra shed where I can hide all my porn?

Anathema wrote the soundtrack to my life.

As I drift away... far away from you,
I feel all alone in a crowded room,
Thinking to myself
"There is no escape from this
fear,
regret,
loneliness..."

Visions of love and hate
A collage behind my eyes
Remnants of dying laughter
Echoes of silent cries

I wish I didn't know now what
I never knew then...
Flashback
Memories punish me again
Sometimes I remember all the pain
that I have seen
Sometimes I wonder what might
have been...

And sometimes I despair
At who I've become
I have to come to terms
With what I've done

The bittersweet taste of fate
We can't outrun the past
Destined to find an answer
A strength I never lost
I know there is a way
My future is not set
For the tide has turned
But still I never learned to live
without regret.

He reads the thoughts in my brain, that one.
